Last Sunday, Norfolk Southern ES44AC #8099 (the Southern Railway heritage unit) led train 201 south over Route 340 through Karo, Virginia. Karo is located south of Front Royal and just north of Bentonville. This is along the ex-N&W Shenandoah Valley line. A photo and video are below.
