Thanks to a heads-up, I caught Norfolk Southern train 203 today with ex-UP SD90MAC #7325 leading as it descended Linden Hill heading east on the B-line in Virginia.
My wife was working today so I had my girls with me. The Appalachian Trail crossing is a good spot to wait for a train when they’re with me. They were playing George of the Jungle on a big grapevine hanging over the trail just a few yards south of the tracks.
