NS 13R at Riverton on the Shenandoah Valley Line

Yesterday, I had hoped to catch the Monongahela Railway heritage unit crossing the Shenandoah River but the train was making good time coming down from Pennsylvania and I realized I wouldn’t be able to get in position in time. Instead, I caught NS train 27A with the heritage leader along Happy Creek Road and decided to go kayaking afterwards. Not knowing if any other trains were coming, I was pleasantly surprised to hear a train when I was near the bridge. It was Norfolk Southern train 13R heading south along the ex-N&W Shenandoah Valley Line crossing the Shenandoah River shortly before it would head east on the NS B-Line at Riverton Junction.
