Yesterday at lunchtime I saw a freight train creep up to the control point at Cody near Linden, Virginia. Power was D9-44CW #8950, SD70ACU #7297, SD60I #6745, and ES-44AC #8160. The second unit is a SD70ACU rebuilt from a Union Pacific SD90MAC. Chris Toth has an excellent site explaining the rebuilds that Norfolk Southern is doing on their acquired SD90MACs.
