A late running Norfolk Southern train 227 from yesterday stalled this morning on Linden Hill in Virginia. The power then proceeded west with the mixed freight half of the train and left to the siding between Cody and Woods near Front Royal. The power then ran around the cars to retrieve the intermodal cars left on the main track to the east. They then ran west around the mixed freight cars on the siding and shoved back east to put their train back together. Finally, after waiting for NS 211 to pass, they proceeded west towards the Virginia Inland Port.
