On November 12, we went to Mechanicsville, Virginia to see my oldest daughter running cross country at the Regional Championships. Whenever I travel the I-95 corridor, I like to stop in Ashland so we ate lunch trackside along the ex-RF&P CSX line after the race. This time, we only saw one train, northbound Amtrak Regional train 94 led by ALC42 341.
