I went out to Arizona last week for a hiking trip at the Grand Canyon. On our way, we stopped at Flagstaff for the night and were staying just a couple blocks from the Burlington Northern Santa Fe’s Transcon line. This line was very busy compared to what I’m used to along the Norfolk Southern B-Line in Virginia. While we were out and about downtown, I counted 8 or 9 trains within a couple of hours.
